Dedicated Food, Nutrition and Dining Hotline

Eating food that you like is important for your health and wellbeing. The food and dining experience in aged care homes should be safe, enjoyable, respectful and based on what you like.

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has a dedicated Food, Nutrition and Dining Hotline. The hotline supports older people receiving aged care, their families and carers to seek support, ask questions and raise concerns about the food, nutrition and dining experience.

Aged care residents and their representatives can call the hotline with enquiries, questions and complaints.

The hotline is available on 1800 844 044, 9:00am to 5:00pm AEDT, Monday to Friday.
