Consultation: Final release of new Aged Care Act Rules

We are inviting feedback on the final release of Rules for the new Aged Care Act.

This stage covers:

  • who can access aged care and how places are allocated to people
  • the rules providers and workers must follow when delivering care
  • accommodation costs, including bonds and other charges
  • how the aged care system is managed and how complaints are handled
  • what information the government must and can share about aged care services
  • other important issues, including decisions that can be reviewed.

Your feedback will help everyone get ready for the new Act to start from 1 July this year.
